Napa Valley Wines
Our Napa Valley vineyards benefit from the cooling influence of the San Francisco Bay in the southern part of Napa Valley making it ideal for growing Chardonnay while the warmer longer, growing season in the eastern part of Napa Valley is ideal for growing Sauvignon Blanc and other red varietals.
This Cabernet Sauvignon brings all the roar of Napa Valley, and when blended with a touch of Malbec, produces a big, lush wine that finishes with smooth and tamed round tannins.
The signature of Lion Tamer is a generous palate of black raspberry and surprisingly lush tannins.
The Lion Tamer White Blend highlights the unique white varieties we grow in our estate vineyards on Mount Veeder.
Distinct notes of vanilla and oak spice from aging in American oak add to the personality of the wine, surely one of our most popular Napa offerings.
“This wine pairs well with poached or grilled seafood, shrimp or crab with spicy aioli, baby greens tossed in citrus honey vinaigrette, avocados, fruit salsa, shaved fennel, tangerines and triple crème cheeses.” ~ Chad Hendrickson, Executive Chef
