Every year, the Come Over October movement encourages friends, family, and colleagues to “come over” during the month of October, share wine and celebrate friendship and connection.

Karen MacNeil's Wine Party Tips
Wine tasting parties are a great, casual way to get together with friends. Any time is party time. And, any time is share-some-wine time, but especially when it’s Come Over October.
Here’s our take on Karen MacNeil’s checklist:
- Choose a group of friends
- Choose a good theme—think Harvest Moon Parties, Famous Wine Regions, or Wines I’ve Never Tried
- Give everyone a wine assignment, including a budget
- Don’t forget the corkscrew
- Make it BYOG (Bring your own glass)
- Make sure there are snacks
- Set the mood with a playlist
- Pour perfect portions—we recommend 2-3 oz.
- Let the conversation flow
